Senior Associate, Client Development
HighPoint Associates is a management consulting firm that focuses on strategy and operations challenges for a diverse range of clients. The Senior Associate will collaborate with senior leadership on client-facing and internal strategic initiatives, developing proposals and supporting business development efforts.
Responsibilities
Support senior leadership in the development of well-structured client proposals, ensuring high-quality strategy development and translating robust insights into clear, visually compelling presentation materials
Utilize strategic thought capability to further dissect client needs and think about opportunities in a synthesized structure
Attend client discussions to understand needs and gather context for the proposals
Assist in monitoring key industry and market trends and competitive dynamics to inform client discussions and support potential go-to-market strategies
Contribute to client development efforts by identifying potential areas of impact or growth for existing client relationships
Support knowledge management efforts by capturing key takeaways and insights from past client engagements and proposals
Maintain internal proposal archives, materials, and templates to improve proposal development efficiency and consistency
Assist in developing internal intellectual capital and thought leadership by collaborating with the Marketing team and Consultant SMEs
Explore opportunities to enhance knowledge sharing through AI tools or new technologies, with guidance from leadership
As an entrepreneurial business, additional business-related projects may arise. Senior Associates have opportunities to contribute beyond their core responsibilities at the intersection of business needs and individual strengths, including supporting other internal strategy projects
Qualification
Required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Undergraduate degree from a leading four-year university
2-3 years' experience as an external management consultant, with prior experience in research and client proposal development
Ability to work in El Segundo, California 3 days/week (hybrid model, no relocation will be offered)
