Consulting
Responsibilities
Lead project development, design and production throughout all phases of the project
Facilitate client, consultant & contractor coordination and regulatory approval processes
Development, delegation and quality and budget control of all architectural deliverables
Business development, proposal & contracts negotiations and fee generation
Integrated Revit modeling and related project document development including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, code analyses and specifications
Ensure project quality and consistency for profitability and client retention
Attend meetings with clients, consultants & contractors, and make regular project visits
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project team across multiple offices
Cultivate and manage new business relationships to support growth in Western NC
Represent Summit at industry events, conferences, and professional society meetings
Qualification
Required
Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Licensed Architect in North Carolina (required)
5-8 years of relevant professional experience
Displayed experience independently managing and producing architectural projects
Displayed experience in design, detailing, building systems, codes and construction techniques
Displayed experience managing clients, consultants and project budgets
Displayed experience with architectural practice and project delivery
High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe CS and MS-office
Strong creative, problem-solving and technical skills
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as well as within a virtual setting
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required
