Responsibilities
Create and edit programs for multi-axis CNC lathes and mills
Interpret blueprints and engineering specifications to ensure product accuracy
Develop routing/production path and prints for quoting and new part production
Provide technical support to machine operators, and assist the quality department
Research and recommend tooling and methods to improve machining processes
Design and develop work-holding tooling
Utilize and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with manufacturing equipment, particularly CNC lathes and mills centers
Proficiency with CAM and ERP systems
The ability to apply mathematical concepts (geometry, trigonometry) and creative reasoning to solve complex problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams
A high level of focus and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role
Preferred
Experience with overhead gantry systems is a plus
