As an Estimating Intern, you will work alongside the preconstruction team, gaining hands-on experience in project pricing, planning, and preparation while contributing to real projects.

Responsibilities
Assist in preparing budgets, estimates, and bid packages for active pursuits
Review and analyze plans, specifications, and subcontractor proposals
Support quantity take-offs and data entry for estimate preparation
Participate in subcontractor outreach and bid review meetings
Help maintain estimating logs, bid schedules, and cost databases
Observe how estimates are transitioned into construction operations
Qualification
Required
Actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program pursuing Construction Management, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn the preconstruction process
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and leaders
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Togal.AI or other estimating software a plus
