The Assistant Director of Rooms Operations (ADOR) will help lead guest-facing operations, supporting the Director of Rooms and overseeing Housekeeping, Front Office, Reservations, and overall Guest Experience to ensure exceptional service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Support and collaborate with the Director of Rooms to manage and elevate all aspects of campus guest operations
Lead, coach, and inspire teams in Housekeeping, Front Office, Reservations, and Lodge Drive to deliver seamless, heartfelt service that exceeds expectations
Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and guest experience standards
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation across campus spaces
Partner with Facilities, Security, Food & Beverage, and Finance to ensure smooth coordination of all guest-related functions
Monitor guest feedback and develop action plans to continually enhance satisfaction and operational efficiency
Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and payroll to achieve departmental and organizational goals
Serve as Manager on Duty as needed, modeling 1440's principles of Deep Hospitality in every interaction
Support team development through coaching, training, and performance management - fostering a culture of belonging, accountability, and collaboration
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years in hospitality with a focus in Housekeeping
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Collaborative mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of property management systems and hospitality operations
Preferred
Associate degree preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
