They are seeking an Internal Stock Auditor to ensure accuracy in stocktakes, identify discrepancies, and maintain strong stock integrity while collaborating with store teams and providing guidance on stocktake processes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with store teams in advance to ensure preparation meets the agreed standard

Manage the full in-store stocktake process to ensure accurate book stock

Identify, investigate, and escalate stock discrepancies or anomalies

Carry out internal audits to confirm operational and legal requirements are being met

Produce and interpret clear reports that support stores in tackling external theft

Conduct compliance checks, contribute to post-stocktake reviews, and provide feedback to help improve accuracy and reduce shrink

Required

Proven experience in stocktaking, inventory management, or stock control (retail background advantageous)

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines effectively

Detail-focused, analytical, and adaptable, with the resilience and proactive approach needed to confidently analyse data and produce accurate reports

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across Ireland and Scotland and flexibility to work out-of-hours shifts with regular overnight stays
