Sales Manager
AOI Corporation is a growing company in the commercial furniture industry, seeking a Market Sales Director to lead their sales team in Nebraska. The role involves driving strategic growth, building client relationships, and representing MillerKnoll, a recognized furniture brand, while fostering a supportive company culture.
Responsibilities
Lead with vision: Coach, develop, and motivate the sales team to hit and exceed performance goals
Drive growth: Identify strategic sales opportunities and expand AOI’s client base
Collaborate strategically: Partner with the Vice President of Furniture on forecasting, planning, and new initiatives
Build relationships: Cultivate strong partnerships with clients, the A&D community, and key business leaders
Engagement: Serve as our community ambassador, attending events in the Omaha business community through events, sponsorships, and A&D partnerships
Leverage insight selling: Deliver impactful client presentations and proposals that communicate the AOI + MillerKnoll advantage
Empower success: Monitor KPIs, manage CRM activity, and ensure process alignment across the sales function
Solve challenges proactively: Address issues in real time with creative, solution-driven thinking
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in sales management or team leadership (B2B preferred)
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to execute
Excellent communicator with strong business acumen and presentation skills
Highly organized with strong follow-through and accountability
Preferred
Experience in commercial interiors, architecture, design, or construction
Proficiency with CRM systems and data-driven sales management
