Responsibilities

Execute manual test cases to identify defects, verify functionality, and confirm that products meet business requirements

Partner with Product and Development to understand requirements, clarify expected outcomes, and ensure test coverage aligns with user needs

Clearly record test results, defects, and steps to reproduce, ensuring efficient communication and follow-up with the dev team

Participate in test planning, design, and improvement discussions to refine our QA processes

Work closely with automation testers to identify test cases for automation and continuously improve efficiency

Use GitLab to deploy, test, and validate builds in our cloud environments

Share insights and advocate for process enhancements that improve release reliability and user experience

Qualification

Required

Hands-on experience executing and analyzing test automation frameworks

Ability to write moderately complex SQL queries (MySQL or similar)

Familiarity with container frameworks (Docker) and Unix/Linux shell

Experience using Git or other version control systems

Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as GitLab or Bitbucket

Analytical and detail-oriented with a natural curiosity to uncover issues before they reach users

Strong communicator who fosters collaboration and clarity within fast-paced teams

Proactive problem solver who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments

Positive and adaptable — you take ownership of challenges and turn them into opportunities for improvement

Preferred

ISTQB or similar testing certification
