Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Engineering Designer to join their Land Development team in Toledo, OH. The role involves performing engineering calculations, developing drawings, and collaborating with senior engineers to create project designs in civil and site engineering.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering calculations and create estimates

Develop drawings by modifying or replicating a prior project, applying changes and corrections from redlined drawings, and/or creating drawings from sketches of others or from own design

Interpret and understand drawings from multiple disciplines for specific projects and respond to requests for information regarding same

Work with senior-level engineers to create project designs

Create models, including 3D models

Research design options and document findings for project engineer/manager

Qualification

Civil EngineeringEIT CertificationCAD SkillsAutoCADHydroCADWaterCADInterest in Land DevelopmentInternship ExperienceEnglish Proficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering required

Solid CAD skills, including AutoCAD, HydroCAD, and WaterCAD

Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions

Preferred

EIT (Engineer in Training) certification preferred

Interest in land development (civil/site) engineering projects; prior internship experience preferred
