The Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation of various door systems, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction through professional installation practices.

Responsibilities

Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers recommended installation procedures and specifications

Document time spent and complete proper documentation detailing job numbers, travel time, any discrepancies, shortages, or inefficiencies in jobsite conditions

Maintain proper truck stock and inventory

Maintain company vehicle both in appearance and per vehicle maintenance agreement

Interface with customer, end-user and general contractor in a courteous professional manner at all times

Participate in training programs offered and remain AAADM certified

Perform all work in a safe manner for prevention of accidents to themselves, co-workers, contractors on-site and the general public and property of all concerned

Required

Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices

Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus)

Valid driver's license and a good driving record

High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork

Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively

Preferred

Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware
