Manager 3, Tech Strategy & Planning
Intuit is seeking a Manager 3 in Tech Strategy & Planning to lead strategic initiatives within the Small Business Group Product Development organization. Responsibilities
Lead annual and in-year strategic and portfolio planning processes, ensuring clear alignment to enterprise and SBG PD priorities
Establish frameworks for goal setting, resource allocation, prioritization and decision making to ensure transparency and impact
Partner closely with senior leadership to define and execute organizational strategy, ensuring agility in adapting to changing business needs
Own financial operations for SBG PD, including budget planning, investment reviews, and in-year tracking of spend and resources
Partner with Finance and Procurement to drive efficient, value-maximizing investment strategies
Ensure financial discipline, risk mitigation, and trade-off transparency in decision-making
Build and scale dashboards, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to provide leaders with actionable insights
Develop processes, tools, and automation that enable fast, high-quality decision-making across the organization
Champion best practices in operating rhythm, governance, and continuous improvement
Design and lead organizational engagement strategies, ensuring employees feel connected, empowered, and recognized
Partner with HR, Communications, and cross-functional teams to build community, drive inclusion, and foster collaboration
Mentor and grow a high-performing Tech Strategy & Planning team, creating opportunities for career development and leadership growth
Qualification
Required
10+ years in roles delivering cross-organizational impact, ideally in strategy, operations, or large-scale program management within a technology environment
Ability to connect strategy to execution, with strong problem-solving, resource allocation, and financial planning skills
Excellent quantitative analysis capabilities with a data-driven decision-making mindset
Proven ability to design and scale planning frameworks, operational rhythms, and portfolio management practices across complex organizations
Demonstrated ability to understand end-to-end processes and come up to speed quickly on new business domains
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to create compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including c-level executives
Demonstrated success leading transformational change, navigating ambiguity, and aligning stakeholders around shared goals
Highly self-motivated and willing to proactively take on issues within teams and the company at large
Passion for excellence and a strong desire to have a significant impact on the business
Strong understanding of software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycle, with experience applying Agile methodologies
Applies AI tools not only for productivity but as augmentation across processes
Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams, creating growth opportunities, and fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
Preferred
Experience managing and developing teams of technical program managers is strongly preferred
MBA or relevant advanced degree/certificates preferred
