Sales Engineer
Vesta is a next-generation system of record aimed at transforming the mortgage industry through modern technology and workflows. As a Sales Engineer, you will be a founding member of the sales team, leading technical discovery calls, delivering product demonstrations, and collaborating with the sales team to secure new customers.

Responsibilities
Lead technical discovery with enterprise prospects to deeply understand their current-state architecture, processes, and pain points
Deliver high-impact, tailored product demos that clearly articulate the value of Vesta in the customer’s language, aligned to their workflows and business goals
Partner closely with the Sales team as a strategic counterpart — addressing technical objections, influencing deal strategy, and building trust with key decision-makers
Be a customer advocate internally — surfacing product feedback, edge cases, and market insights to inform our roadmap and messaging
Support sales outcomes by owning the technical portions of the sales cycle and helping close enterprise-level deals
Qualification
Required
Deeply knowledgeable about the mortgage and regulated financial services sectors
Proven track record of delivering complex technical demos to customers in the mortgage and financial services sectors
Technical sales skills with the ability to demonstrate product capabilities through deep technical know-how
Ability to translate technical concepts into terms that customers can understand
Ability to partner with the sales team and achieve quarterly sales targets
Self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys new opportunities without needing a lot of structure
Excited to shape and grow the product alongside the culture and operating rhythm of the company
Ability to lead technical discovery with enterprise prospects
Ability to deliver high-impact, tailored product demos
Ability to partner closely with the Sales team as a strategic counterpart
Ability to advocate for customers internally by surfacing product feedback and market insights
Ability to support sales outcomes by owning the technical portions of the sales cycle
