Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of manufacturing processes for composite hardware
Lead and provide technical direction to projects with critical business impact
Design and develop mold tooling
Provide technical guidance, direction, and mentorship to new engineers in function
Drive rigor for documentation of projects and lessons learned
Make recommendations after analysis of the data using quality tools
Protect the Intellectual Property rights of the Company

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years (mechanical, aerospace, industrial, and engineering) experience + minimum of 5 years ((mechanical, aerospace, industrial, and engineering) experience

Preferred

Previous experience in composites manufacturing (i.e.: Braiding & Weaving technology, Ply shape development, Prepreg hand layup, Resin Injection Molding, Autoclave and/or press curing)
Experience operating within Quality Systems (Ex: AS9100, NADCAP)
Skilled in the use of CAD modeling software (Unigraphics preferred)
Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn

Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed
Able to work on shop floor and interface between floor operators and engineering
