They are seeking a Vice President Corporate Controller to lead the accounting department, oversee financial reporting, and implement internal controls while acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Oversee month-end and year-end close process. Prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple entities

Supervise accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and financial accuracy

Design and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Lead internal and external audits including timely completion

Participate as a leader in the ERP implementation including spearheading testing, developing process improvements, and acting as subject matter expert in the area

Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide training and support to ensure the team is up-to-date on best practices
