They are seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to serve as a trusted advisor in estate planning and elder law, managing a full caseload while collaborating with a support team to provide compassionate client service.

Responsibilities

Lead client meetings and recommend thoughtful, customized estate and elder law strategies
Independently manage your caseload with accountability and professional judgment
Design and draft sophisticated estate plans, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and Medicaid asset protection strategies
Guide families through trust administration and probate with clarity and compassion
Collaborate closely with paralegals and legal assistants, delegating effectively while staying engaged
Build trust quickly with clients and earn their confidence and respect
Contribute positively to firm culture through professionalism, humility, and teamwork

Qualification

Estate planning experienceElder law experienceActive Missouri Bar membershipDrafting skillsLegal analysisHumorHumilityProblem-solving abilitiesTeam-first mindsetEmotional intelligence

Required

5+ years of experience in estate planning and elder law
Active Missouri Bar membership in good standing
Strong drafting skills for complex and customized estate plans
Excellent judgment, legal analysis, and problem-solving abilities
Comfort owning outcomes—not just completing tasks
A team-first mindset (yes, sometimes that means jumping in where needed)
A sense of humor, humility, and respect for people at every level of the firm

Preferred

Medicaid planning strongly preferred
