Project Controls Specialist

The Project Controls Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by tracking performance, managing budgets, and collaborating with project managers and the finance team.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues
Implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
Track and analyze project costs, revenue, and forecasts
Manage change orders and contract modifications
Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection
Generate regular projects and key performance indicators
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Support financial closeout processes
Utilize ERP systems to manage project data and workflows
Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project success
Provide financial guidance and support to project teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Distribution, Math, or another related field of study
Valid TX driver's license and insurable driving record
Entry-level role; 0-2 years of experience
