IT Contract Manager Intermediate
Baptist Health is looking for an IT Contract Manager Intermediate to join their team in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for assisting with contracting and procurement activities for IT supplies, equipment, services, and maintenance, while also supporting vendor communications and tracking vendor performance.

Assists with the contract portfolio and conducts contract negotiations with vendors working in conjunction with resource councils and service lines, Information Technology leadership and the IT Contract Manager Senior
Coordinates with legal as necessary to ensure terms and conditions are consistent with our standards and meets Baptist Health policy. Executed contracts should be in the best interest of Baptist Health
Coordinate and communicate contractual terms to other departments whose functions are necessary to the development, implementation, and management of the project initiative
Participate in cross-functional and project specific meetings to assigned service line and serve as the IT expert on the contracting process
This position is responsible for assisting with providing contracting guidance, advice, instruction, training, and recommendations
Assisting with managing system contracting application and ensures timely renewal of contracts
Coordinates contract reviews with legal as needed
Ensure suppliers, strategic partners, risks, and opportunities are in line with our strategy for supplier management
Facilitates executive and stakeholder approval for strategic sourcing scope and strategies including providing detail regarding complexity and risk ratings
Works with analysts to quantify and analyze data for appropriate groups and make recommendations for consideration of standardization or use within Baptist Health operating units
Works collaboratively with Supply Chain, Legal, IT Security, IT Leadership, and Hospital Leadership when necessary
Ensures contracting terms and conditions include Information Technology direction provided by the appropriate resource council, service line council, Vice President of Information Technology Operations, or Chief Information Officer
Maintains a collaborative relationship with leadership and other system service teams and councils in the health system to identify and implement improvements and standardization with systems, services, and products and then contracts on behalf of Baptist Health accordingly
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required with 2 years' experience
4 years of direct experience in lieu of degree
