Mold Change Technician C

Responsibilities

Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed)
Perform changeovers and set ups of molds and machines pertaining to mold and version changes
Improve machine efficiency through uptime and optimization
Complete required trainings: Paulson, Systematic I, EAM, and crane
Assist Process Techs and Maintenance in troubleshooting issues pertaining to mold and press functions
Install dies on machines according to specifications (i.e., layouts, STW, BOMs)
Create new standardized work procedures
Train other employees and new hires as needed
Follow all company policies and procedures
Actively participate in safety activities
Participate in safety and communications meetings as scheduled
Support in times of need: i.e., production support, vacation coverage, and overtime changeover support
Complete all safety and company compliance training on time and according to schedule
Follow and document process parameters (platen layouts) to ensure repeatable results
Troubleshoot to improve and develop repeatable molding processes
Properly handle and care for all materials, molds, and tooling
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities
Other duties as assigned

Required

Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
Knowledge of basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge
Knowledge of structural foam molding process
Basic computer experience, including Microsoft Office
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Good manual dexterity
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of hand tool use and care
