Responsibilities
Does research on new accounting pronouncements
Ensure that internal and external financial statements are in compliance with GAAP requirements
Helps to lead implementations of new accounting standards
Assists in the consolidated financial preparation process
Arranges audits, special projects, and reviews
Evaluate the effectiveness of the internal controls and implement new procedure based on results from testing
Make sure all earning release deadlines are met
Work alongside external auditors to ensure they have all required information
Ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar from an accredited university
Experience in public accounting OR strong technical accounting experience
Preferred
CPA or Masters in preferred
