Responsibilities

Review existing processes within the Crew and Thermal Systems Division, Systems Test Branch, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Update, maintain, and enhance software applications to improve operational efficiency
Design, create, and upgrade Human-Machine Interface (HMI) screens to enhance usability and overall user experience
Utilize AI/ML tools and methodologies to support scalable document control, configuration management, and system identification
Perform system checkouts, procurements, testing, maintenance activities, and develop supporting technical documentation
Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited institution, with relevant experience
Computer programming experience
Experience working with SQL databases and SQL Server
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and instrumentation system procedures
Experience with data acquisition systems and their applications
Working knowledge of SCADA systems such as ICONICS and Ignition
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and associated programming software
Proficiency in the use of computers and standard software tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Familiarity with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures
