Network Engineer
Norwood Medical is a contract medical device manufacturer that supports customers in robotic assisted surgeries, orthopedic, and minimally invasive surgery markets. They are seeking an experienced Network Administrator / Engineer to design, implement, and maintain their enterprise network, ensuring reliable and secure operations across their environments.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including hardware, software, external connectivity, and security
Configure and manage network components such as switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and VPNs
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform upgrades as needed
Maintain IP-based phone systems and ensure reliable telephone connectivity
Implement and troubleshoot connectivity using switching, routing, VLANs, wireless, and VOIP
Manage cloud infrastructure including hosted solutions, servers, applications, and security
Evaluate and install software releases, patches, and system upgrades
Manage domain name systems and certificate solutions
Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect digital assets
Support vulnerability scanning tools, perform assessments, and coordinate remediation activities
Serve as the point of contact for information security incidents and compliance
Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories
Coordinate and perform backup & recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and environment documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
3-5+ years of progressive experience in network administration or network engineering
Strong knowledge of Cisco networking, routing, Palo Alto firewalls, and security administration
Experience with Windows/Linux server administration and cloud platforms
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or CompTIA Security+ are strongly preferred
