Responsibilities
Configure, operate, and manage Azure security services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault, to safeguard cloud assets and data
Work alongside IT and Information Security teams on Azure-specific projects and initiatives to support secure and scalable deployments within the cloud
Consult with IT teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities within Azure environments, ensuring timely and effective risk mitigation
Monitor Azure threat management systems to identify and assess potential security incidents or breaches within cloud systems
Investigate, analyze, and escalate security incidents related to Azure environments as needed, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues swiftly
Contribute to the development and implementation of security principles, technical reference architectures, standards, baselines, and blueprints tailored for Azure, supporting a proactive and structured security posture
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in cybersecurity
Experience in Information Technology and cloud security principles/concepts
Expertise in Azure security tools and architecture
Ability to configure, operate, and manage Azure security services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault
Experience in collaborating on Azure-specific projects and initiatives
Consulting with IT teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities within Azure environments
Monitoring Azure threat management systems to identify and assess potential security incidents or breaches
Investigating, analyzing, and escalating security incidents related to Azure environments
Contributing to the development and implementation of security principles, technical reference architectures, standards, baselines, and blueprints tailored for Azure
Preferred
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar Azure-focused certifications
Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
