MATERIALS PLANNING ANALYST II

Responsibilities

Review and analyze MRP (Material Requirements Planning) outputs to ensure accurate planning and material availability
Maintain material master data and planning parameters to support accurate system planning
Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages, delays, or excesses to appropriate stakeholders
Communicate with suppliers and buyers to follow up on material availability and delivery status
Support production planning efforts by aligning material availability with schedule requirements
Participate in root cause analysis of material shortages and assist in corrective action follow-up
Assist in preparing reports for KPIs and materials planning metrics
Contribute to planning-related continuous improvement initiatives, as assigned
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on routine planning tasks and smaller-scale projects

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in materials planning or supply chain support, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Proficiency in Excel and basic data analysis
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with moderate supervision

Preferred

Exposure to lean manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts
Experience working with ISO/quality systems
Understanding of supply chain fundamentals and basic logistics concepts
