The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a Graphic Designer to conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality materials for research on terrorism and violent extremism. The role involves working closely with researchers and partners to create visually appealing products and maintain the NCITE website.

Work independently with NCITE researchers and partners for both small scale and large scale projects, from draft reviews to production, as needed

Ability to represent the NCITE team and UNO through strong communication and presentation skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field

One year of experience in marketing, graphic design, or a related field

Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office products, and other design tools

Proven verbal and written communication skills to understand the needs of a project and to respond appropriately

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Previous graphic design experience at a university or college
