Financial Wellness Specialist
The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a Financial Wellness Specialist to support first- and second-year students by integrating financial literacy education with academic and personal coaching. This role involves providing one-on-one support, teaching college readiness seminars, and collaborating on outreach programs focused on financial wellness.

Integrating financial literacy education with academic and personal coaching
Serving as a primary point of contact for students experiencing financial barriers or personal challenges
Providing one-on-one student support
Teaching college readiness seminars
Collaborating and creating outreach programming focused on financial wellness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
At least one year of experience working with students, teaching experience, advising, and/or financial planning
Preferred
Master's degree in Education, Financial Planning, Public Administration, Student Affairs, or related field
Student advisement experience to include teaching and/or workshop facilitation experience
Experience working with college students and faculty in a university environment
Experience working with local and/or federal college financial aid services
