Responsibilities
Own the full accounting cycle: AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end close
Prepare and analyze financial statements with an eye for insights and actionable recommendations
Lead accounting projects independently—process improvements, internal controls, system upgrades, and more
Proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and implement them with confidence
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate policies; coordinate with auditors as needed
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on accounting and finance matters
Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
Mentor junior staff when needed, but your focus is ownership and delivery, not supervision
Qualification
Required
Must be CPA license holder with 3–7 years of hands-on accounting experience
Experienced with both detailed execution and higher-level project ownership
Proactive problem-solver who doesn't wait to be told what to do
Comfortable making decisions, juggling priorities, and driving results independently
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Tech-savvy with experience in accounting software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar
A communicator who can translate numbers into meaningful insights for business leaders
