Greet and check in/out patients in a professional, friendly manner
Present treatment plans and explain associated costs clearly and confidently
Develop and manage patient-friendly financial arrangements and payment plans
Handle insurance verifications, eligibility, claims, and follow-ups
Collect balances and ensure timely payments
Schedule appointments for maximum productivity while accommodating last-minute changes
Answer patient inquiries in person, over the phone, and by email
Maintain accurate patient financial records and track treatment progress
Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative team members
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in a dental, medical, or patient finance-related role
Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans and billing procedures
Experience with financial coordination, collections, and patient-facing communications
Proficient in general office software; experience with Dentrix is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
