Vice President of Strategic Accounts
Thrive Recruiting Partners is a PE-backed technology and network-based organization seeking a Vice President of Strategic Accounts to lead business development and strategic account management across North America. The role involves protecting, growing, and expanding relationships with large enterprise customers, particularly within collision repair networks and insurance carriers, while shaping strategy and driving revenue.

Responsibilities
Lead and provide strategic direction to senior account leaders and teams, including setting goals, priorities, and performance expectations
Own strategic account planning, execution, and forecasting across a portfolio of large enterprise customers
Balance defensive account management (retention, protection) with offensive growth (expansion, new opportunities)
Coach and develop leaders and individual contributors through complex enterprise pursuits and negotiations
Identify skill gaps and ensure teams have the tools, training, and playbooks needed to succeed
Drive execution of sales and account management strategies aligned to overall business objectives
Design and manage budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes with a high standard of accuracy and discipline
Establish quotas, territories, and performance expectations to support growth targets
Partner closely with senior leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align strategy, pricing, and execution
Support the rollout of new programs and initiatives through clearly defined and scalable sales processes
Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high-performing strategic account and business development talent
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong customer orientation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent relevant experience building large enterprise partnerships
15+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership, strategic account management, and/or business development
7+ years leading teams with direct management responsibility
Strong background working with large enterprise customers in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Proven ability to lead and close large, complex, multi-year enterprise deals
Have a commercial mindset with strong enterprise sales and account strategy expertise
Preferred
Deep experience in collision repair networks (MSOs) and/or adjacent automotive, insurance, or aftermarket ecosystems strongly preferred
