In this role, you will support engineering functions by preparing detailed drawings, assisting project engineers, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the accuracy of engineering documents.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, exhibits and graphics using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Assist project engineers and senior designers with drafting for roadway, utility, grading, site development and transportation projects
Incorporate redlines, design challenges and quality control corrections into plans
Set up sheets, perform basic design layouts, and follow drafting standards and templates
Organize files, maintain drawing documentation and assist with deliverable coordination
Support design teams with data entry, quantity takeoffs, exhibits and presentation materials
Collaborate with engineering, surveying and construction teams to ensure accurate drawings
Assist with occasional field verifications or site documentation
Participate in project meetings and support multidisciplinary collaboration
Qualification
Required
Understand civil engineering drawings, roadway design, grading and utility plans
Have strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and manage drawing files
Be able to learn quickly and follow established drafting standards
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be motivated to grow in a consulting environment
Preferred
An associate degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, Engineering Technology or related field from a technical college or institution
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D in professional or academic settings
