Director of Talent Management

Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of recruiting strategies, processes, and initiatives to meet current and future staffing needs
Oversee talent acquisition pipeline strategy, including internship programs and marketing initiatives supporting talent recruitment efforts
Establish and maintain talent pipelines by building relationships with external community partners and institutions
Create and oversee training programs that enhance employee skills, support leadership growth and allow for career mobility
Conduct regular assessments of workforce competencies to identify skill gaps and develop strategic, relevant development pathways
Work in collaboration with division leadership to design, implement, and manage workforce development programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs
Coordinates with Chief Human Resources Officer to identify key roles for succession planning and plans initiatives accordingly
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Program leadership to align hiring and training practices with the requirements of grants, contracts, and state or federal funding sources
Maintain documentation and reporting in accordance with audit and funding agency expectations
Foster a learning environment, onboarding process and set of talent acquisition strategies which are rooted in equity, inclusion, and respect—supporting our ongoing commitment to ADA compliance and disability awareness across all areas of the organization
Actively contribute to employee engagement initiatives which promote well-being for staff and individuals served
Provide strategic support to leadership through ad hoc reporting and predictive analytics to optimize workforce planning
Monitor key performance indicators for training and development needs, effectiveness, and outcomes
Supervise and mentor HR team members, promoting professional growth, innovation, and collaboration in pursuit of organizational excellence
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement in alignment with organizational objectives and values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification (required)
8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in talent acquisition, training, or workforce development leadership
Proven ability to manage recruitment and training programs that meet compliance standards for state, federal, and grant-funded initiatives
Demonstrated success in fostering inclusive, mission-aligned workplace cultures
Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
Passion for advancing equity, accessibility, and opportunity for all
Preferred
Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in the nonprofit or human services sector
Disability services experience strongly preferred
