Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant
Wizehire is looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to join their team. This role involves communicating with referral partners and clients, facilitating loan applications, and providing support throughout the loan process.

Responsibilities
Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service
Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator
Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned loan originator and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items
Assist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etc
Assemble loan documentation as required for verifications and underwriting, such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service
Act as the primary contact between clients and our company, and schedule and conduct meetings to discuss any follow-up issues or items that need to be addressed
Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator
Screen and make calls, book appointments, and provide administrative support as needed
Qualification
Required
MS Office proficiency
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous mortgage experience
Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills
Local candidates only – relocation not provided
Preferred
some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software
College degree in finance or banking
2-3 years of professional office environment and administration or mortgage experience
Having an NMLS license
Preferably 2-3 years of administrative support in a professional office or mortgage environment
