Vice President, Investments - Ki Tua
Fonterra is a global dairy co-operative that values care, collaboration, and contribution. They are seeking an independent contractor to join their Ki Tua team, focusing on investment activities and portfolio management to align with the Fund’s overall direction and mission.
Responsibilities
Deliver on Ki Tua Fund’s financial and strategic goals, KPIs, and talent objectives
Build and manage a strong investment pipeline and present opportunities to the Investment Committee
Collaborate with the investment team in the US, ensuring high performance and alignment
Oversee portfolio performance, governance, and support company growth and exits
Foster relationships with key stakeholders and external partners to maximise value and impact in the US
Qualification
Required
Experienced VC investor with a strong background in venture capital or private equity
Hands-on experience in deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management
Proven track record reflects sound investment judgement, active board involvement
6-10 years' experience in venture, growth, or private equity investing
Proven track record in deal execution, investment judgment, and board engagement
Strong analytical rigor and crisp communication skills
Entrepreneurial mindset; thrive in fast-moving, unstructured settings
Domain interest or experience in food, agriculture, industrial, or deep tech
Appetite to work in a global, multicultural team and demonstrate strong collaboration skills
Eligible to work in the United States
