Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual, business, and trust income tax returns
Research and resolve tax-related questions and issues
Assist with gathering and organizing client data for tax planning and compliance
Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and changes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
Support the team in delivering timely and thorough tax services across a variety of client types
Communicate directly with clients to collect documentation and explain tax matters
Represent clients in IRS and state correspondence matters, with support from senior team members
Work with tax software including QuickBooks, Lacerte, TPS, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
Help ensure internal procedures and documentation standards are followed
Qualification
Required
Enrolled Agent certification
3–5 years of experience in public accounting, bookkeeping, or tax services
Experience working with high-net-worth individuals or families
Skilled in preparing individual, business, and trust tax returns
Solid understanding of current tax regulations and best practices
Experience in trusts and estates considered a strong advantage
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Lacerte, TPS, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
