Responsibilities
Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner and assist with access to the location as outlined in site-specific policies
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all front desk activities, including visitor check-ins and deliveries
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client contacts regarding security-related issues or emergencies
Follow security-related procedures and protocols specific to financial institution environments
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering directions or information as needed at the front desk
Qualification
Required
Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience
An armed guard card or license
Experience with access control or badge systems
Comfortable using a computer or tablet
