Responsibilities

Review of structural designs for code compliance
Structural analysis, document review, and research for root cause evaluation
On-site inspections and collection of data. Note that site inspections may require multi-day travel to other parts of the country
Preparation of reports and repair details
Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager
Regular attendance in the office (located at the Wrigley Building, 410 N Michigan Ave)

Qualification

Structural engineeringStructural analysisEIT licensureReport preparationOn-site inspections

Required

5 to 7 years of experience in the design and/or investigation of structures
Licensure – EIT min. Working towards SE licensure

Preferred

Experience in the investigation of structural failures and/or preparation of reports for attorney clients
