Regional Director of Business Development
American Golf Corporation is seeking an experienced Business Development leader to drive growth opportunities in the golf industry across a defined U.S. region. The role involves sourcing and advancing acquisition targets while collaborating with internal teams to expand the company's national footprint.

Responsibilities
Proactively identify and source new golf course opportunities, including:
Independently owned golf courses
Leased and management contract opportunities
Build and maintain a regional pipeline of active and prospective deals across public and private ownership groups
Develop strong relationships with golf course owners and industry stakeholders
Collaborate with operations, finance and leadership to support underwriting and financial modeling
Serve as the primary commercial point of contact through negotiation and award
Collaborate with operations, finance, and leadership to:
Structure lease and management agreements
Support underwriting and financial modeling
Negotiate commercial terms
Advance deals from initial outreach through LOI, contract execution, and handoff to operations
Track regional market activity, competitor presence, and upcoming opportunities
Provide feedback on pricing, fee structures, and contract trends
Support refinement of the company’s regional and national growth strategy
Qualification
Required
5-7+ Years of experience in business development, commercial sales, or acquisitions
Demonstrated success sourcing and supporting the closing of complex, relationship-based deals
Comfortable working autonomously in a regional, field-based role
Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills
Preferred
Strong preference for experience in golf, hospitality, entertainment, recreation, real estate, or municipal services
Experience responding to or managing municipal RFPs strongly preferred
