Responsibilities

Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation
Creating well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs
Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions
Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures

Required

Minimum 5 years of experience in Proposals, Field Application, Engineering (preferably working with Switchgears, in the Electrical/Electrification/Power Generation industries, or with other similar products)
Previous experience working for or with Proposals Teams serving the different Markets/Countries
Highly adept in Product Configurators, Sales Force
Successful candidates for this role will possess outside the box thinking, problem solving focus, and Continuous Improvement Mindset
You are at ease communicating in English, Spanish will be a plus
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Marketing, Sales is preferred but not required. Someone with significant relevant experience in lieu of degree would be accepted for this position
