Responsibilities
Creates and sustains a safety culture throughout the organization
Leads up to 6 direct reports in shift maintenance and maintenance support positions
Drives compliance with federal, state and local regulations relating to processing human grade products
Ensures production of quality products are at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet daily demand
Drives continuous improvement in the plant's manufacturing processes by implementing sound maintenance policies, programs, and procedures
Collaborates with the supply chain, operations, and quality teams on maintenance related matters
Develops direct reports by way of pay reviews, resource management, performance management and relevant training
Provide input into the budgeting process for maintenance related expenses
Control resources and provide input to policy formation in area of responsibility
Other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 5 years of food manufacturing experience, including management experience
2 or more years of supervisory experience
