Litigation & Compliance Paralegal
Larson Maddox is seeking a Litigation & Compliance Paralegal to support their legal team. The role involves assisting Senior Counsel with compliance initiatives, developing and implementing policies, and managing compliance-related tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist Senior Counsel with compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and company policies
Partner with Senior Counsel to develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and systems
Support compliance risk assessments and monitor the compliance hotline
Participate in internal investigations and assist in preparing investigation reports
Collaborate with Senior Counsel and other in-house attorneys on legal audits
Help deliver legal training programs to educate team members on relevant laws and regulations
Contribute to the preparation of the annual compliance report
Manage compliance hotline operations
Assist with document retention and record-keeping requirements
Work with Corporate Counsel on contract collection, storage, and monthly status meetings
Prepare and file UCC Financing Statements
Monitor and report on legal, compliance, and risk management developments impacting the company
Support insurance policy renewals and compliance with insurance requirements
Assist in developing crisis management strategies and plans
Handle e-discovery tasks, including imaging computers using forensic software
Ensure compliance with Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years as a paralegal
Familiarity with forensic software tools
