Legal Counsel - Sanctions & Export Controls
Texas Instruments is a global semiconductor company seeking a highly motivated attorney with experience in sanctions and export controls to join their legal team. The role involves providing legal advice and guidance on sanctions and export control measures worldwide, serving as a subject matter expert and advisor to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Provide legal guidance to stakeholders, including TI’s global trade compliance organization, relating to sanctions and export controls
Advise on internal policies and procedures
Track, analyze, and proactively communicate new sanctions and export controls globally
Provide legal advice on changes to sanctions and export controls, including coordinating with stakeholders to assess impact to TI
Prepare a variety of written communications such as legal updates
Maintain strong communications channels between relevant internal teams
Some domestic and occasional international travel required
Qualification
Required
Law degree from an accredited law school (JD or LLM)
Licensed to practice law
At least 5 years practicing law, with relevant experience in sanctions and export controls
Preferred
Strong understanding of existing and emerging sanctions and export controls worldwide
Ability to give practical, strategic, business-oriented advice and recommendations
Ability to establish strong relationships and to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
Strong time management skills that enable executing with urgency on critical projects
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive for results
