Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical subject matter experts, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
Provide strategic direction for products and tools used across the Renewables CWE, in collaboration with other team members
Act as a service-driven partner to field and operations teams, gathering requirements, defining problem statements, and ensuring strong user experience outcomes
Facilitate clear communication between technical teams, operations stakeholders, and corporate IT groups
Prioritize and manage work across multiple projects using Jira or similar project management tools; maintain organization, visibility, and workflow clarity
Improve and maintain documentation, ensuring processes, decisions, and system knowledge are accessible and up to date
Evaluate business processes and value streams, identifying opportunities for simplification, optimization, and automation
Support integrations with other business groups and enterprise systems
Represent the team in meetings with non-technical stakeholders, translating requirements into action plans and clarifying dependencies and risks
Qualification
Required
High School Grad / GED
Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 5+ years
Bachelor's - Engineering
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, or similar fields
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with project management suites (such as Jira)
Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
Experience leading/managing technical specialists
5-7+ years in software development or 3-5+ years in leadership or management roles
Master's degree in business administration
Experience with procedural code development (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript)
Experience with databases and SQL (Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, Redshift, etc.)
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and version control systems
Background in software development or power generation
Six Sigma Green Belt
