The intern will gain hands-on experience in managing and optimizing affordable housing assets, analyzing property performance, and contributing to strategies that maximize value and sustainability.

Responsibilities
Portfolio Performance Analysis: Review property-level financial and operational data to assess performance against benchmarks
Risk & Compliance Review: Assist in monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Capital Planning Support: Contribute to planning for capital improvements and long-term asset sustainability
Data Reporting: Prepare clear, concise reports summarizing asset performance and recommendations for improvement
Collaboration with Leaders: Communicate findings and insights to asset management leadership and cross-functional teams
Final Presentation: Deliver a comprehensive summary of portfolio analysis and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
Local Travel: During the first two weeks, travel locally within Nashville (up to 25%) for property visits and team meetings
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
Highly organized with attention to detail
Willingness to travel locally (up to 25%)
