Responsibilities

Establishes the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient and optimized sequence of operations and work flow
Production/Manufacturing Capacity Analysis/Planning
Plans the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings
Plans the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment
Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Events, 5S events, facility layout events, or other Kaizen events
Experience with Production/Manufacturing Capacity Analysis/Planning and Line Balancing
Experience calculating Takt Time, Utilization, Productivity and performing Time Studies

Preferred

Experience developing business justification in pursuit of executing Capital Expenditure Projects
Experience with JIRA (Atlassian tool)
Experience Running Production Manufacturing Simulations
AGILE framework task management and project planning
SAP / ERP Experience
Experience Designing Layouts in AutoCAD and/or Visio
PowerBI or other data analysis tools
