Technical Manager - Transmission Line Engineering
NV5 is a leader in enhancing distribution system capacity and reliability of electrical service for utility customers. They are seeking a Technical Manager - Transmission Line Engineering to manage power delivery projects and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Act as the responsible engineer and client point of contact for power delivery projects
Increase the volume of overhead line work with existing clients
Assist in marketing and promotion efforts to add new regional clients
Prepare, review, and P.E. seal technical calculation reports and construction documents meeting client and NV5 requirements
Develop your career via peer-learning through sharing of knowledge with other experienced engineers and train and mentor junior staff
Travel to client sites as needed
Mentor junior staff
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering or related engineering degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
10+ of progressive experience in the civil-structural engineering field
Professional Engineering (P.E.) registration in the states of OR and WA, or AZ is desired, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date
Preferred
M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering
Overhead (OH) Transmission Line design experience with PLS-CADD
Other structural design experience (i.e. Bridges, Buildings)
