The Associate Vice President, Real Estate will lead the analysis, valuation, and management of site selection and construction/development projects on behalf of the firm’s borrowers and portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

Lead retail site selection for the firm’s portfolio companies in PA, MN, MD, and OH and conduct research, due diligence, pursue zoning and entitlement approvals, construction budget analysis, and monitoring

Lead construction projects ranging from full ground-up construction to interior buildouts of industrial and retail product types

Review and assess appraisals, environmental reports, surveys, zoning and property condition reports for loans made to borrower parties and actively monitor the RE collateral within the firm’s loan portfolio

Prepare analytical and tracking reports by updating portfolio data into cloud-based programs

Work closely with multiple departments in the organization including legal, underwriting, accounting, and finance to assess the opportunities and risks of loan and investment collateral

Required

Minimum 7 years of real estate construction, finance, site selection experience

Strong financial skills including fluency with Microsoft Excel

Positive attitude, high attention to detail, and ability to lead and collaborate within teams

Preferred

Degree concentrations in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting or Real Estate
