Responsibilities

Orchestrate the development of a hardware and software system through its entire lifecycle, from requirements determination through operations and system retirement, with an emphasis Software Defined Radios and RF domain expert involvement, risk or opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project
Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge
Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
Work without considerable direction
Mentor and may supervise other team members

Qualification

Required

3+ years of experience in signal processing, RF engineering, and programming languages such as C++, Python, or VHDL
3+ years of experience in SDR applications
Experience with tools such as GNU Radio, USRP hardware, and SDR frameworks
Experience with RF design, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization tools
Experience with projects that integrate multiple types of technology, utilizing RF systems such as backhaul and transport
Knowledge of RF principles, antenna theory, and propagation models
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems involving RF technologies
Ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree

Preferred

Experience in project management or leading cross-functional teams
Experience with emerging RF technologies
Ability to work across multiple disciplines, including hardware, software, and system integration for complex systems
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Master's degree in an Engineering field
