Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using open-source tools to facilitate seamless data integration from various sources including Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, SharePoint along with RESTful API integrations with SaaS solutions

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to support large-scale data processing and analytics

Design, build and optimize a data virtualization architecture

Develop and manage data models, schemas, and database designs for data warehouses using SQL

Implement best practices for data quality, security, and governance across all platforms

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with Agile methodologies

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform capacity planning for future growth

Stay current with emerging technologies in big data analytics, and cloud computing (AWS/Azure) to continuously improve infrastructure efficiency

Required

9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience

Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark) and Apache tool suite

Hands-on experience with ETL frameworks (Airflow, Luigi, Prefect, or similar)

Ability to apply statistical methods in R for data validation and analysis

Proficiency in Postgres and at least one of the following: SQL Server or Oracle databases

Familiarity with AWS (Glue, Redshift, S3) or Azure data services

Understanding of RESTful API integrations

Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively

Strong understanding of database design principles combined with experience in analysis skills to optimize data architecture solutions

Knowledge of Agile development practices to facilitate collaborative project execution
