Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research and analysis of the Federal market landscape, focusing on Health sectors
Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including contracts, partnerships, and collaborations
Qualify leads and opportunities based on established criteria and strategic objectives
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities within the Federal sector
Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target agencies, particularly HHS
Engage with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and strategic priorities
Collaborate with proposal teams to develop compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals
Provide input on technical and business strategies to enhance proposal success rate
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities impacting the Federal sector
Contribute to the development of business development strategies and plans aligned with organizational goals
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities relevant to the Federal sector and Health domain
Build and maintain a professional network of contacts to support business development efforts

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in business development within the Federal sector
Proven track record of successfully identifying, qualifying, and capturing new business opportunities
Strong understanding of Federal procurement processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Familiarity with HHS procurement procedures preferred
