Premium Audit Department Intern
The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) is seeking student interns for their Premium Audit Department. The role involves assisting with the review of audit records, contacting record uploaders, and ensuring audits are completed timely by working with policyholders and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Review of Policyholders' business records and operation to determine appropriateness of estimated premiums
Update codes and payrolls to reflect operations Renewal billings
Conduct on-site (policyholders' or representative's home, office, or other), virtual (video conference) or remote (policyholder upload records) visits with policyholders/representatives
Customer outreach to review remote audit outcomes
Work with policyholders, brokers, CPAs, and Safety Group Managers
Qualification
Required
Be a permanent New York State (NYS) resident and/or actively enrolled in a NYS college, university, or graduate program
Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program) or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate program
Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent
Able to work full-time Summer (37.50 hours weekly) and part-time (10-15 hours per week) fall and spring
