Start in 2026 SummerStanford Health Care Tri-Valley is offering multiple internship opportunities within their Technology and Digital Solutions department. Interns will engage in various technical disciplines, including cybersecurity, data analytics, and integration solutions, contributing to healthcare improvements and gaining hands-on experience.

Responsibilities
Assist with detailed data gathering for initiatives, including synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data from a variety of sources
Draft project deliverables that summarize key findings and propose solutions
Interface with clinicians, employees, and leaders to share results and gain input
Present findings and results to internal audiences
Other special projects and duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be rising juniors or above (currently sophomores, juniors, or seniors who will advance to the next academic year by the internship start date)
Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
Experience with CTFs, security challenges, or relevant coursework
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Self-motivated learning approach
Interest in healthcare technology and data protection
SQL proficiency and database concepts
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Strong communication and storytelling abilities
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple stakeholders
Adaptability and quick learning capability
Customer service orientation for clinical staff training
Process improvement mindset and attention to detail
Coursework in computer science or related field
Understanding of APIs and web services
Interest in healthcare data standards
Programming experience in Java, Python, or similar
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Interest in technology and healthcare
Basic software development experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with diagramming tools
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Curiosity about system design and architecture
High School Graduate, at least 18 years old, and entering or returning to undergraduate studies at an accredited school in the fall
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to solve problems by uncovering the root cause of an issue
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of team
Able to set individual goals and schedule based on overall project goals
Accepts constructive feedback and takes action
